JOSE MOURINHO SACKED AS MANCHESTER UNITED COACH
After two and half years reign as first-team head coach at Manchester United Football Club, Jose Mourinho has been shown the exit door as the club manager on Tuesday. This news came barely 48
hours after the 3-1 defeat at Liverpool on Sunday evening derby match.
United are currently 19 points behind the league leader Liverpool and 11 points adrift the fourth-place Chelsea with the spot for Championship league qualification uncertain. The Red Devil has lost 5 times his season out of 17 league games and are on the 6th position on the premiere league table.
Mourinho 55, third season at United was the worst start to a season since for over 30 years. An official statement was announced on the official website of the club stating categorically that;
Manchester United announces that the manager, Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect.
The Club will want to thank Jose for his work during his at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.
A new caretaker will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager.
However, Micheal Carrick will take charge as the interim coach pending when the caretaker coach will be announced. Carrick has been one of the coaching crew to the out going manager, he has acquired a lot of experience as a player who played for United for several years.
Mourinho was appointed as the United Coach after the termination of Lious Van Gaal appointment on May 2016 and he performed above average since Sir Alex Fergerson resigned as the coach.
The achievement of Jose as United Coach in the last two and halves includes; Community Shield, League Cub, Europa league. These were the major trophy United had achieved since Ferguson resign as the head coach.
The former Man United boss also complains of the failure of the Executive Vice-Chairman Ed Woodward for not signing the five players name he submitted for the season and also he further alleged that his attempts to sign defenders was blocked by the Vice-Chairman.
However, United spent a whooping sum of $400m to signed eleven man players last season, and the board claimed that the players are not properly managed by Jose.
