SALAH WON 2018 AFRICA BEST PLAYER / FULL LIST OF CAF AWARD WINNERS

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards for the year 2018  took place in Senegalese Capital Dakar on January 8, 2019.  The Confederation of African Football, CAF, will be awarding the best players, clubs and national teams for the year 2018.


Mohamed Salah has been crowned the Africa Player of the Year 2018 for the second time consecutively, the event of this year Confederation of African Football (CAF) which took place in the Senegalese capital Dakar on January 8, 2019.

The events were attended by outstanding Africa legends, among were the likes of Nwankwo Kanu, Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto, George Weah, and so many others. The Egyptians player has been outstanding for both the Club and the Country.

Mo Salah who beat the likes of Sadio Mane and Patrick Aubameyang to win the most prestigious African football award was seen dancing and jubilating at the podium with friends and well-wishers.

6. African Youth Player of the Year 2018 - Achraf Hakimi.

7. Africa's best XI - Oyango, Aurier, Benatia, Baily, Koulibaly, Keita, Partey, Mahrez, Salah, Aubameyang, Mane.

8. African's Women's Player of the Year 2018 - Chrestinah Thembi Kgatlana.

9. African's Men's Player of the year 2018 - Mohamed Salah.
